Mini messages

Do mini messages work at all? Or do you have to activate it someway?
And this site is very slow, why is that...
Not the easiest to use at all.

It sounds like you might be trying to contact members within the U.S. and/or Canada.

Please review the default contact restrictions in place on the site.

You can find this information in the 'Block Management' section of the 'My Account' area.

(Basically, members outside the U.S. and Canada cannot contact members within those countries, unless the members in those countries have chosen to open their accounts to messages from other countries.)

As to the slowness, it is a constant battle to stay ahead of the increasing traffic and registrations throughout the network. Every now and then things slow down a bit until we can upgrade our servers or optimize the sites a little more. Over time, you should find the network to run smoother and faster as we implement changes.

`how come you cant message from outside the US? im in the military stationed in japan, and im looking for someone so when i get home in a few months, someone will be waiting. Or is there another way around this?

`How do you post a mini message? I'm probably just blind, and slow, so could someone describe the steps to doing that? I don't see a place to type one at all.
